Nowadays space related implications on everyday life are becoming more and more evident. Cross technologies have always contributed to enhance our capabilities to pioneer Space, with, as a result, a mutual fertilization of developments: enhancing what is possible on earth thanks to space heritage, and the other way around.
In Thales Alenia Space, with our “Space for Life” we strongly believe in space as humankind’s new horizon to build a better, sustainable life on earth. Several projects have been dedicated to fulfil our mission. ALTEC, the Italian Gateway to the International Space Station, and soon to Mars, is devoted to create and grow this strong link between our planet and Space.
Starting from automotive to
medical, passing through agro-food, energy & fashion verticals,
several are the practical cases in which Space has a strong synergy with other
markets. This presentation, open to an interaction with its participants, helps people and SMEs in
understanding how (new) technologies could fit into the discovery path of our
universe and beyond.
