Vincenzo Zezza (Electronic Engineer, PhD in Management Science and Business Engineering)
At Regione Piemonte is Director for Research Innovation and University, also in charge of the management of European structural funds for research and innovation
Previously (2011-2015) at Italian Ministry of Economic Development (DG for Industrial Policy), as Director responsible for industrial policies for several industries (steel, automotive, shipbuilding, chemical industries), in 2015 Director of Ministry office for telecommunications in Emilia Romagna Region.
From 2004 to 2011 at IPI (Institute for Industrial Promotion, governative agency) he was manager for the development of RIDITT the “Italian Network for Innovation and Technology Transfer” to SMEs, and for the support at the Italian Ministry of Industry for design and implementation of “Industria 2015”, main governative policy for industrial innovation.
From 2001 to 2004 he was at CRF (Centro Ricerche Fiat), the corporate research center for the automotive FIAT Group companies (today FCA), where he has been project leader for the reengineering of the Fiat Auto product development process.
From 1998 to 2001 he was at Agitec, Agency for the dissemination of technology innovation to SMEs, where he was the head of the technological department.
He has formerly worked as electric and electronic industrial circuits designer (1990-1996), then moving to ENEA (1997-1998), the Italian national board for new technologies, energy and the environment, where he was involved in the development of simulation models for atmospheric pollution, and on international technology transfer projects.
